How much does a website cost?

• Small, focused website: under $5k
• Standard business website: $5k to $10k
• Online store or custom features: more, depending on the scope

These numbers are a guide, not a price list. What your website costs depends on what it has to do.

What moves the price?

• How many pages the site needs, and how many different kinds of page
• Whether you sell online, with products, a cart and payment
• Custom features, for example a login for your customers
• Connections to tools you already use, like a calendar, accounting or a customer system
• Whether you want to change text and pictures yourself, or send changes to us
• Whether we build a new site or a new version of the one you have today

What is included?

• Design made for your business, not a template and not an extra
• A site that loads fast and works on phones, tablets and computers
• The search basics: titles, descriptions, headings and a sitemap Google can read
• Domain and accounts in your name, so you hold the keys
• Help at launch and the first rounds of changes after, from the same people
• Your own login where you follow the work: status, updates and dates

How long does it take to build a website?

A small site can be ready in a few weeks. A larger site or store is usually planned over one to three months. You see the timeline before any work starts.

How you pay

We never ask for money upfront. Once we have agreed on the scope and both signed off on it, you usually pay 30 to 50 percent to get started. The rest can be split into installments, paid in one go when the work is finished, or folded into an ongoing arrangement if we keep working together.

What does it cost after launch?

The domain and the hosting account are in your name. Help at launch and the first rounds of changes after are included. If you want new features and improvements on a regular basis, we agree on an ongoing arrangement that fits you.
